Wembley?
i love Bowie but i dont know if he has a stadium capacity tour in him anymore.
His show is stripped down - club/theatre oriented.
Plus his live singing voice has never ben strong, andtake away the theatrics...its kinda weak.

Glass Spider was pretty...rough

Oh, I never doubted he could sell the tix...but is his performace worthy of stadiums anymore?

I've only seen him in a club and it was great, but i guess I can't assume

Bowie...a weak singing voice live?!

CRACK KILLS.

Some of the best live albums released have been Bowie albums - "Stage" is magnificent, "Ziggy Stardust the Motion Picture" is gorgeous, and even the recent "Live at the Beeb" was spectacular...and he was performing that as a 50-something year old man...with the flu!

The only exception to these classics would be "David Live", which many folks will still defend to the death. While I find it a really fascinating document of a man at death's door, it's really obvious that the man was far, far, FAR from the top of his game and it can be a painful listen at times.

That said, the live Heathen performances last year were outstanding (though I do think it's time for Bowie to consider smaller clubs, as Prince and Annie Lennox and, well, just about everyone else have been doing of late) and I plan on checking out the Reality tour this fall/winter...even if it IS produced by the evil Clear Channel empire!
