I don't have any children but $20 seems pricey for a children's book.

Fair play to her for trying something different.
And I still think American Life (the album) is better than people are giving her credit for. I much prefer it to Music.

To me,'American Life' is much, much better than 'Music'.It's a more consistent, cohesive collection of songs.'Music' was made up of a bunch of unrelated songs and there was no real theme or concept to the album. This time around, there is a real emotional center, and a strong, spiritual message to it all.But albums like these do not always resonate with the public (Prince's 'Lovesexy' album, for example).

Oh well. Stuff the public. The crap that they put at the top of the charts these days leaves me cold and disillusioned. Here's to American Life - ![]()

In 2001,when I was all excited about the Drowned World Tour,I was reading that book everyday...lol...but most of the time,it stays well-hidden in my closet.Great book, but not very easy to explain to friends who already think Madonna is insane...lol...

I love the sex book! In fact EROTICA is my 2nd favorite "Era" of madonna's..."Like a virgin" being the first. I think Madonna looks incredible and I love the "Dita" cartoon in the back. That's my favorite. ANother favorite picture is the one of her on the beach with the long blond pontytail hairpiece...she looks fabu! Let the rain come down...17 days....

Sure does! It seems like we live in a world where it's fine for our pop stars to be misogynist homophobes who condone violence and gang warfare. What's worse are the (mostly) dullards that support these artists and fail to see the irony in a lot of the work and actually believe that this is a cool way to live their lives. Sorry times!
