Sophisticated Lady By Mya Sounds Like A Prince Outtake From 87 Wouldn't suprice me If I heard that Mya is a Prince's bootleg digger.
Hey thats not a bad joint after all, matta o' fact that joint sounds like a song Terry & Jimmy would produce 4 Cherrelle. Mya should be SMART and release this # as the next single, "My Love Is Like Whoa!" is a bad bad baaad choice 4 a lead single. Can somebody be kind enough to post the FULL credit(producers-horn arranger-backing vocalists) please?? Thanx [This message was edited Wed Jul 23 13:03:49 PDT 2003 by Harlepolis]

First, that song is great, but it is all the way Rick James' Cold Blooded from the 80's sorry no Prince involvement, he would be shocked ---------------------------------

Altho the bass line sound like Patrice Rushen's 84 hit "Get Off (You Fascinate Me)"

Definately uses Rick's "CloodBlooded" yet it doesn't seem to give him credit? Why not? Kind of off subject, I noticed that Missy's last album uses a ton of well known samples but no writing credit. Anyone mind explaining if they know?

I ain't saying that Prince had an involvment in that joint, I'm only saying he INFLUENCED the track. Rick James & Pstrice Rushen may influenced the joint too! but thats def a tribute 2 Prince 87, I don't care what anybody say

The album is sprinkled with Prince influence indeed. And thanks for anwering me on the writing credit thing, Paisley. I just find it odd that they don't write credit anymore for songs. Strange!
