Michael Jackson lyrical question

Listen 2 the intro 2 The Girl is Mine. Michaels first line is 'Every night she walks right in my dreams' right?
Oh no listen again. It's clearly 'Every night she'll wash my inbetweens' lol

I remember back in '83,one of our local radio stations played the song "The Lady In My Life" and the DJ wondered if perhaps MJ was professing his love for a certain Prince protege'...

"even when we're old and gray, gonna love you MORRIS DAY,cause you will always be the lady in my life"

smile the DJ even stopped the song and played that part several times, asking listeners their opinion.

MJ is really saying "gonna love you MORE EACH DAY" but somehow it sounds like he's saying Morris Day...lol...to avoid confusion,he should have just said something like...

"even when we're old and gray,I'll love you in a special way, cause you will always be the lady in my life"

I actually did hear MORE EACH DAY, but now that MORRIS DAY has been pointed out, that's all I'm gonna be hearing...

A curse upon all of you for making me mentally insert other lyrics to songs I love!!! evil

Stay away from my thoughts now, y'all... hmph!

For years I didn't know there was actually a chorus to "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" - I thought he was just making noises

redface
