 'm an Eminem fan and show no  4 the asshole. He brags about how many times he has been shot (which is 9 times). 2Pac and Biggy were shot the same amount of times and died, so now he thinks that he's eternal. A couple of years ago, thought that he had some skills goin' on as far as his rapping talent is concerned, but he really changed.
He also brags about his son having a small bulletproof vest like he does, and in my opinion, that's a damn shame. That is totally nothing 2 brag about. Agreed.It astonishes me that someone would *brag* about how many times they've been shot,and use that tragedy as a marketing strategy.That's just sad,isn't it? | |

Davideye - I am not one to beat around the bush. It gets me in trouble sometimes but those who know me well appreciate my honesty. It blows my mind that people are buying up this guys music like it's the be all and end all of music. It's crap and he won't be around in 5-10 years. He will be dead, in jail, or on skid row probably. On the other hand, I do not begrudge anyone trying to make it in the biz and make money and a career for themselves, but I can't believe that his cd is selling 10 million + copies. Where are peoples taste in music??  | |

Come on now... early late 80's 90's was the best period in hip hop with (like somebody said) Eric B and Rakim, EPMD, Pete Rock and CL Smooth... .then on to Leaders of the New School, Tribe Called Quest, Lords of Brooklyn, Black Sheep, Brand Nubian, Del... then on to what you speak of, the height of Snoop Dogg, Dre... Then came Black Moon and Smiff N Wessin (Boot Camp) and Wu-Tang, Def Squad, Moob Deep, and B.I.G... then it all just died and in came P. Diddy. The good shit is still out there, you just dont hear it. All of Company Flow is just tight. El-P. Aesop Rock. Then, Del the Funky Homosapien is still kickin it all over the place. Jedi Mind Tricks are insane as are Self Scientific, Binary Star, Cannibal Ox, and Zion I. ...and Kool Keith is still making some of the best hip hop around. There is a lot of tight shit out there.
