Hey, I didn't knew you speak Chinise? People may hound my ass 4 that but I only loved Clare when he was with Rufus. He kinda lost that "IT" when he started arranging 4 other artists. After he joined our main man, he had some good moments over here and there and thats it(Pink Cashmere is the highlight of his work tho). | |

the obvious answer on a Prince site would be Clare Fischer. he's good, but he's a bit of a one-trick pony. it's all pastels (mostly pinks and oranges) with him.
if we're talking about people who arrange strings for pop songs/artists, i'd say Paul Buckmaster is good. i like Craig Armstrong and Michael Columbier as well. | |
