Anxiety

Kenna's "New Sacred Cow"

Just got this guy's CD today - he had a video on MTV2 last year, but his album just recently got released. His music is kind of derivative - think Radiohead/Nine Inch Nails/Peter Gabriel through the filter of The Neptunes - but I'm kinda into it on my first listen. It certainly isn't boring music.

Anyone else heard this? Thoughts?

I love Kenna's New Sacred Cow. I've had the album since 2001 and I love it. It's very mellowed out. My favorite songs are Freetime, I'm Gone, Red Man, Vexed & Glorious, Rose and Sunday After You.

I also love the track he did with Shea Seger entitled "Clutch."

Kenna is a force to be reckoned with! Chad Hugo (of the Neps) did an incredible job with the production. I hope he blows up. I missed the chance to see him live last year when N*E*R*D was in Los Angeles at the Sunset Strip House of Blues last year. I was too busy trying to get a scalper to sell me a ticket (the show was sold out).
