I just saw a VH-1 behind the music the other night about Grace Jones and I really loved what I saw.

I knew Grace Jones b4 that tho its just I wasn't that intrested at all. She appeared in Lil'Kim's "The Notorious K.I.M." LP and I have her "Nightclubbing" which is originaly from my older sistah(who's a GREAT fanatic) and I'm also fimiliar with her song "Demolition Man" that I really like.

My older sistah have been houding my 4 years so that I could bumb Grace's shit but seems that I'm responding right now Hell, I didn't even knew that ahe was a James Bond girl. LOL I've alwaysed thought that homegirl was a MAN tho lol kinda hard lookin' woman 2 be in a Bond movie

Seems that I'm heading 2 the wrecka stow and buy her "Private Life: The Compass Point Sessions".

Any fans in here who could tell me mo' about Miss Jones?

I can't remember which album it's on but the song 'Nipple to the bottle' was always a favourite of mine.

i'm a serious grace fanatic...you haven't lived until you experience grace live. she's truly a one man show.
see if you can get the video "one man show" maybe from ebay.
i must've seen that damn thing about 1,000 times.
it is a must for any grace fan. the 2cd "private life" is a good start for a newbie to grace.

I'm listening to Radio@Netscape and "Pull Up to the Bumper" JUST CAME ON!!! What's weird about this is a similar thing happened to another poster here and today I responded "this type of thing happens to me all the time!"

Back to Grace...the tail might've been attached to a belt, I can't remember. But it tripped me out. She's so cool like that!

And I know everyone remembers her as Strange (pron. Strawn-jay) in the movie "Boomerang." I saw her perform at an AIDS Dance some years ago too. Gracie must be pushing 50 if she's not already there. Remember she used to date Dolph Lungren? (He played the Russian boxer in one of the Rocky movies.)

btw, I've always thought that the "Slave to the Rhythm" video was bizarre! (In that Herbie Hancock "Rock It" video way.)

Island Life is a classic compilation of the best bits from Grace.

But most albums are fantastic.

I think she's out of a recording contract now but theres a track on an album (the name of which I forget) called "Barefoot in Beverley Hills" which is definitely a TUNE.

I know she modeled before she began singing.
I've always thought that basketball player David Robinson (?) looked like Grace. Speaking of men who look like her...
anyone remember the video where there are multiple Grace's? It's not trick photography, just many men wearing Grace Jones' masks. I can't think of the song to the video, though.

I just went with my VH-1 recorded video tape and wassup with her beating the shit outta that British interviewer(I think the show called Graham Newton or something) I don't remember what she really said but she beat him up cuz he turned his head to interview his other guest. Something along the lines like 'don't turn your back on me' or something,,




Could somebody what really happend and if its possible a transcript will help either
