I was just listeing to her "Homebrew" album
This is album is so ahead of it's time it's like the original "Miseducation of Lauryn hill"
she talks about same subjects, she raps and sings she is also BEAUTIFUL
you should check her out especially "HOMEBREW" album it's a classic, she opened the door for people like Lauryn Hill

I love Lauryn but I think Neneh doesn't get the respect and qudos she deserves. She was doing what Lauryn did and is doing way before (alot of today's hyrib sound pop/hip hop and rock) can be heard on her album

You should get "HOMBREW" just to see the simalrites between it and "Misseducation of.." maybe Lauryn wasn't so orignal after all, but I STILL LOVE LAURYN

"Homebrew" is the deal - she put out an album after that called "MAN", which rocks like nobody's business. I don't think it ever got released in the states, but it's well worth hunting down.

The man was really good it had the song "Womans World"

My fave is definately "Trout" with Michael Stipe...


Neneh Chery Rocks!

I ADORE Neneh Cherry. I can't believe she only made 3 albums. It's so irritating because she really could have been something special and made a stronger mark as a respected artist.

After she hit it big she came down with something. Like Cancer or some other serious illness. That is why she disappeared. A few years ago when her brother Eagle Eye Cherry had a hit single there were rumors that she might make a comeback but I dont think anything came of it.

When she released Buffalo Stance in 1989 she was doing all the promo and performances when she was at least 6 months pregnant. I never heard about any serious illness. Maybe she was just content being a full time mother.

You guys should check out the song 'Come Along' by Titiyo. She's Neneh's half sister. I got her album, and it's not bad. Not a classic, but that song is great.

She looks very pretty kinda the black version of Pink.

If I recall rigth, she had Lyme disease.But Homebrew was off the hook and different. I remeber I was a junior in high school when it came out. I bougth Man 2 year ago but I didn't like it as much.
