HEART

HEART..ALIVE IN SEATTLE, this 2 cd set hit stores today along with tons of other releases, but this CD along with the DVD a few weeks ago reminded of just how good HEART is and how underrated ANN WILSON is as a vocalist. Even though HEART enjoyed alot of success in the 80's and lost alot of their own songwriting skills that were tops in the 70's, ANN's voice is one of the best out there and it still is stronger than ever. Ann also has dropped 80+ pounds and looks great and healthy. This new LIVE cd kicks ass and also includes 4 new songs and 4 covers, HEART is just finishing a new studio CD, their first studio HEART CD since 1994.

"My top CDS now"

ANNIE LENNOX-bare
JAYHAWKS-rainydays
MYA-Moodring
RAIDIOHEAD-hail to the theif
AIR SUPPLY-across the concrete sky
HEART-alive in seattle
JOHN MELLENCAMP-trouble no more

"shockdenialangeracceptance"-RickSpringfield coming this summer

Heart had some kicking tunes with great guitar playing. Glad she lost the weight. The girls were foxes back in the day.

ann wilson is amazing. her voice gives me goosebumps. and you're right lastdecember, she is so underrated. i was so disgusted with rolling stone for leaving her out of its "women who rock" issue. nancy's name is never mentioned in similar issues, either and she's never acknowledged for her guitar skills.

Ann Wilson has one of the best voices in rock 'n' roll. Her weight has never been an issue to me. Who cares?

Damn, if I would have seen in anywhere I might have picked it up. By new songs, do you mean they are studio songs? I should check this out. Thanks for the heads up!

I bought the dvd last month and it's really good. Ann's voice sounds great. I loved their cover of Mona Lisa And Mad Hatters and they also performed my favorite song by them Mistral Wind.

They were also on The Tonight Show last night.

The fact that Nancy Wilson is married to Cameron Crowe gives hope to geeks everywhere.

Thank you, Nancy:)

BTW - in the guitar store where I work in good 'ol New Jersey, there's a customer who comes in about once a month and plays "Barracuda" - LOUDLY. Whether it's on an acoustic guitar or electric guitar, he only plays that song. I guess that's the only song he knows, but by golly, he plays the living hell out of it!!!

Only in America...
