Axl flew my friend Youth over 2 produce the new album about 4 years ago. 10 days later, Youth had packed his bags and was flying home. He doenst do that 'rock tsar' (sic) bullshit - He said not only did he want him 2 be his producer, but he wanted him 2 be his therapist, guru and friend.
The guys a loser, he's had his time, used it, abused it, fucked it, and lost it. Period. The record will sell - but only out of intrigue as apposed 2 any genuine interest.
In their prime they were awesome (I bought their 1st single FIRST time round) but they are just SO not relevant anymore. I wish he'd stop trying 2 convince himself that that's the case. It's quite sad 2 watch the train wreck that is now GnR...
