Tom remarks on Hail To The Theif I finally got back from the Borders with my copy of HTTT and listened to it from start to finish.
Alls I can say is, I very very much recommend reading along as you listen to it. They lyrics really take center stage on this album. It's more like a very intense, jabbing, profound, book of poetry, with a CD of music to accompany it. I was scoping the preview of the album on MTV for a couple weeks now, but I never realized what was being said till I had the lyrics in my hand. This is some intense shit. | |

Yes, the lyrics are really suttle to the real matter he is talking about.. if one was too not really pay attention, they would never know
I think the title was obvious that he had a message to say, regardless if that hurt the sales or not.. obviously it wont because it doesnt matter, its simply good music. | |

as I was almost done listening to the album on MTV's site last nite, I finally realized that radiohead's website had all of the lyrics on it...d'oh! I had to go back and re listen to a few tracks with the lyrics... | |

I love this album.
Will buy it this afternoon. THe Q had a wonderful article, btw. Darin, you should AB-SO-LUTELY take a subscription (is that the right word?) on the English mag called Q. It is TO-TALLY you. | |
