Fleetwood Mac's "Everybody Finds Out." Is it just me...

or does this song just HOWL for a house/club remix?

I CANNOT seem to get this song out of rotation.

It just haunts a brother!!

this whole cd is amazing! but yes, that song could have lots of potential as a mix. who knows, stevie's planets of the universe was a great club mix...maybe this will be too!

and planets of the universe dance mix actually went to #1 on the dance charts too!! They need to put Everybody finds out as a single--it's my fave on the record-unfortunately "Say YOu will" is chosen as the next single--i love the song but it doesn't have enough MMPH!

I'm with you both. And I felt the same way about Bombay Sapphires. ouch! But had no outlet to share the thought with. Poor me.

Hate to say it, but I really don't miss Christine McV. that much. This album is kinda like a part two to the original Buckingham Nicks album, so many years later. And obviously from all the songs, Lindsey and Stevie put ALOT to bed.

I'm probably gonna miss the tour, but if anyone goes, let a brother know how it all went down.

the live show was great! hearing beautiful child live for the first time brought tears to my eyes. i went with purplegypsy and we had a fabulous "last night" in philly! we met stevie and lyndsey before the show and they were too cool! it was just an incredible experience. other than an under performed version of silver springs, they were all at top form! highlights were "come" and "beautiful child", at least for me. the guitar work on come was a mind fuck!

i'm tall enough to reach for the stars!

dayam! how could i miss the resurrection of that gem!

oh well. and they UNDERDID Silver Springs. i won't get mad. cause i'm gonna tell you. when i first saw that special on VH1 and you see Stevie belt out those last words to Lindsey... made EVERYTHING worth it.

yes, Silver Springs IS a "great ole song"... and SHOULD HAVE BEEN INCLUDED on Rumours.

I digress.

Well you will get what you asked for--the REMASTERED Rumours hits stores later this summer and will have Silver Springs on it. Also, you can get RUmours on DVD-Audio (I have it and its AMAZING) and it has Silver Springs on it-there is also commentary by all 5 band members on each song. It's rumoured (pun intended) that TUSK and the White Album remasters will be out later this year. Not sure about MIRAGE or TANGO...

I could live without Tango. Remember when they asked Lindsey how it was in those last years? He talked about how Stevie would be exhausted, drugged out.. and as the producer he'd have to figure out a way to either fudge her vocals or sing them himself? I dunno. Just some parts of the album I don't trust. I DID love the title cut, Big Love, and a few others and GOD knows Lindsey's got some GREAT moments on it. ANd OMG, When I See You Again... ok ok.. maybe i WILL buy it.

I also think that "Everybody Finds Out" is the most obivous single but "Say You Will" is cute and safe. Something tells me it will be the second and last single. While the album might climb back up the charts, I don't see Fleetwood Mac having a hit single anytime soon (although if they released "Everybody..." it might not hurt them).

i don't know, there's quite a few possibilities for singles. say you will is a safe bet since sales are doing very well for the group. once they need an extra jolt (probably after the tour) they may surprise us and release something that grabs everyone's attention, like everybody finds out.

I always thought "Miranda" would be the best choice for a single. I can't even remember how "Everybody Finds Out" goes, I guess it's time I give that album another listen.

Fleetwood Mac, Rumours and Tusk will be re-released on the same day (apparantly on the 11th of August, although the date may change again as they were originally due at the end of this month) the latter two both being 2CD sets. Mirage and Tango In The Night will be re-released sometime later in the year.

As far as singles being released I would go for any of these:

Say You Will
Miranda
Thrown Down
Goodbye Baby
What's The World Coming To (I wasn't fussed about this one at first but it's a real grower!)

oooh, Thrown Down!!

I love that song. Something tells me that that tune is about what happened between Christine and John on the tour.

Any takers?

I heard it was about Lindsey! But you know Stevie, ask her one day and the song is about this, on another day the song is about that!
