Here's a Cool TTD interview from back in the day. Funny as hell!

For those who were inquiring about D'Arby's ego, music, and why he's so great, I think this article/interview will answer a lot of questions, and reveal him for the funny, intelligent, and unique spirit he is.

He talks about Life, God, Sin, Why he feels Otherworldy. And the fact that his big mouth may have cost him his career.

This is an old interview that came out when Vibrator debuted. But it's still great. You gotta check this out. He's says so many great quotable things. You'll be laughing your ass off ... and pondering some deep thoughts.

Here's the link. (It's so long, I don't want to paste)

"I'm a hermit, but as a hermit I can always rest in the fact that I can pretty much keep myself company," he says. "I have internal discussions. Most of the decent discussions I have in fact, are with myself."

Whoa. whofarted Nevertheless, good article.

Yeah, that was interesting-strange.

Here are my picks for TTD's most memorable comments from the interview:

* " ... when the devil comes knocking on your door ...
Let the fucker in ... Give the devil a fatass cigar and some cognac."

AND

* "I certainly would rather have an angel who knows what it's like to be human, instead of some motherfucker created in some angel factory who doesn't have a clue what it's like to have a raging hard-on." omg

AND

"I'm a risk-taker by nature, so my ultimate gamble is that if I can just hang around this motherfucker and throw myself open to the universe, not only can I make it, but I might actually ... be able to share and say a couple of things with other people that might actually help them. The worst thing that can happen is that I'm wrong. Fuck it."

GREAT PHILOSOPHY (which he suggests actually helped him stave off suicide. I love this.

AND LASTLY: "I don't fear God. I used to hear it growing up in church, that if you did not accept God as your savior, you were going to burn in everlasting flames. I'm too delicate in my soul for that. As a kid, I said 'I'm not going to come to you out of that kind of blackmail! That's not a good enough seduction for me. You'll have to seduce me with some wine and chocolate, damn it!"'

Long Live Matreiya (which by the way means Savior (I read somewhere) Oh, how I wish he wouldn't have gone there
