Where The Hell Is Bilal Oliver?

Damnm, this new LP took 4ever already, I'm starting 2 think he won't come up with anything. Does anybody know when will it be released and whose going to appear in it? I kinda miss the brotha already.

The last I heard, label politics are slowing down the progress on the next LP.

Good question. Bilal is an extremely talented vocalist. I don't think he's wrapped too tight, but then again...who is nowadays! lol I'm guess with him pulling "Sly Stones" (2 hrs. late to concerts) or "Whitney Houstons" (cancelling all together), his label may not know what to do with him.

Live shows have usually nothing to do with record companies.

bilal's been doing guest spots. he's on common's electric circus and red, hot & riot--but that certainly isn't enough! he DOES need to release a new album.

he has such a beautiful gift, but he does seem clinically insane at times. saw him in concert a couple years ago and he was sky high.

True, but I'm sure it accounts for something when talking about marketing, promotion, and the overall attitude of the artist.

I do like Bilal's talent. He seems a bit schlocky and full of himself in his videos, but still, I like his music.

But then again, if any of us had problems with pretentious, borderline-schlocky artists before, we wouldn't be fans of the org's namesake, right?

.

Bilal eknowledged that its NOT him in the videos or what not. He said that its only an act nothing else, he's a different guy on the real!

Its really obevious whether he admitted or not and btw co-sign on the last sentence wink
