Bad new for Annie Lennox fans but good new for Justin G and Metallica fans

I could have had the Annie Lennox album 4 days early but I blew it!

Let me start this post my saying that I apologize to any Annie Lennox fans I might offend. While I take the blame for what I did, I didn’t realize what the end result would be. I’m so sorry!

I was in Best Buy today around 11Am looking around. I first noticed that there was a small display for the new Metallica album which I found werid because I didn’t think it was suppose to be out yet. Stranger still is the fact that there weren’t a lot of copies there. Then I go around and look through all of the CDs and notice a Justin Gaurani (sp?) CD and I was surprised that it was out and not on sale or anything. Not that many copies and it wasn’t in the main display (just among the regular CDs).

Then I see the Annie Lennox album that I swore was suppose to come out Tuesday. There was a generous amount of copies (maybe over 20) but no display saying that it was online. I found this odd but thought maybe it was some kind of special promotion. I wasn’t 100% sure if was going to get it but then I walked around more (didn’t notice any other new CDs). I was about to leave and then said “Why not get it AND get it early” but my cheapness stalled me. This is the bad part. I ask the checkout girl, who should know better, “If this CD goes on sale next week, can I get the difference?”. She for some reasons calls media (which makes me think that she knew something was wrong with that CD being out early. So she makes me ask the guy from media (BTW, what does he know about the customer service refunds and crap?) and I ask him, he sees the CD and freaks out. He asks me were they are and I guess I knew what was coming up next. He said it was illegal to sell CDs early, which I guess makes sense. So I left in kind of a huff. I don’t know for sure if I blew it by asking about the sales difference or if the chick was smarter then she looked, and again I apologize to any Annie Lennox fans that I prevented from getting this album early.

But here is a good part of the story. I never told him about the Metallica thing or Justin Gaurani thing either! I didn’t think about it. I figured maybe they were supposed to be out! So, while I don’t encourage anyone to buy these CDs illegally, might I recommend that you go to the Best Buy in Ann Arbor to see the CDs in all their glory! And I just thought about this. It might be possible that the new Luther is out too and I just didn’t see it. I don’t think I made it to the Vs. I’m going back tomorrow and if they have anything out early I want then, I’m grabbing it up!

The worst part about all this is that I the Annie CD probably would have rung up on sale. So stupid. I should have stayed as low key as possible. And I should have at least gotten something for being a NARC! I don’t think I said “This CD is suppose to be out next week” but who knows. Again, I apologize for offending anyone but keep in mind, if you bought it early, I don’t think the sales would have been counted. I’ll tell myself that for comfort. Let the hazing begin!

I heard some of the new Annie Lennox album on Dutch radio
last saturday night. But I couldn't really tell cuz I had
these two fat heffas in my car who were sharing a huge bag
of chips and shouting at each other. They fucked it all up
for me.

But from what I could tell, it sounded pretty amazing again.
You know, cool with sophistication, rather deep but not too
deep to swim in. Nice.
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Anxiety

I'm waiting until I have the whole package in my hands to hear the new Annie album - I ordered the special edition w/ DVD from Amazon, and I don't wanna hear a peep of "Bare" till I'm holding it in my sweaty mitts.

I work in a Wreka Stow lol Annie's album is still due out on monday - so yeah, big assed mistake on their part!
As 4 'St Anger', the release date was brought 4ward, as they decided they wanted a simultaneous worldwide release date.
Kinda strange - doesnt happen often, dont think it will make any difference 2 the sales.

You must work in a wecka stow in the UK. It's Tuesday here. I should have bought it. I would have only saved two dollars. Damn it!

I bought 'Bare' 2day - £12.00 - Steve's Sounds, Leicester Sq area in London. Didn't mind paying the xtra £3.00 just so I could get it early and well worth the cash paid!! Great CD ...
