HEATHER HEDLEY is there hope among the Diva's She's the best thing out there since Jill Scott. She was on broadway so has excellent chops. Any body have the cd? We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color. Maya Angelou

Her voice is indeed amazing but the songs on the cd are a bit bland, don't let her personality shine at all.

I like Heather Headley. "He Is" is a tight track for her vocally. She and Vivian Green are trying to breath a little life into R&B on the ballad tip.

i have the cd and love it. i don't think it's bland at all. i love the mixture of gospel and r&b that she uses in the delivery of songs like "he is" and "sunday"
my favorite is "i wish i wasn't". she brings the urgency to the song without over singing it. [This message was edited Thu Jun 5 10:45:48 PDT 2003 by Phoenixxx]
