Damn forgot about Weak at the Knees! That was the jam! Also very underrated was Steve's 2nd LP "Positive Power" Hump to the Bump was a serious jam.

that's exactly it--where i'm from, funk wasn't played much on the radio, and the one station that did play it wuz only on 4 half the day...sad

Not my absolute favorite War song, but damn close! My favs: The World Is A Ghetto, All Day Music, City, Country, City, Outlaw, You Got The Power and the top one is Slippin' Into Darkness-the long version.
