Just picked up the new Metallica CD and what was nice is the bonus addtions that come with it. Not only do you receive a bonus DVD of the rehearsals for this cd but you also get a special code which allows you to access their vault and to start it off their are 3 diffrent concerts in full from 3 diffrent tours. Now personally that would motivate me to buy more cd's if more bands did some additions like this. Also the cd is regular price nothing extra!!!

I've heard the title track, and boy does it suck. Metallica just wasn't made to last beyond the Black Album.

Metallica have degraded to your average nu-metal band, judging their latest single. New bass-player Trujillo (who was great in Suicidal Tendencies) is screaming like some Deftone Chico Moreno through the song, are they trying to be dipshit Linkin Park?

I think the new single just proves that instead of kicking out the bassist out of the band they should have kicked out the singer. It would make a decent instrumental.
