New Blur - opinions?

I've only heard "Out of Time", which is good but a bit bland for Damon and the boys. R they suffering the loss of Coxon, or blossoming.
I don't own any Blur, but I really like them and saw a gr8 live performance in Melbourne a few years ago.
"We've never been able to pull off a funk number"

"That's becuase we're soulless auttomatons"

Anxiety

I like it - it doesn't blow me away but I enjoy listening to it. It's certainly worth buying.

I also enjoy it and it grows on me more with each listen. Early favorites are Out of Time, Good Song, Sweet Song, Jets, Gene By Gene and Battery in your Leg.

If you don't have anything by Blur, then pick up the best of Blur which is a pretty good retrospective.

I bought the album because of all the buzz over it. It didn't do much for me, it's very emo-friendly, but it was just missing anything distinct or defining.

Their best album to date. A masterpiece.

Ambulance/Out Of Time/Crazy Beat/Good Song - unbeatable opening quartet.

Battery In Your Leg and Sweet Song are every bit as good.

Not a dull moment here.

Buy now.

keep listenin toots, you'll hear it!

I was unimpressed untill about the 10th run thru...then it clicked and I've been hooked since

Ambulance, Out Of Time, Good Song, Brothers and Sisters, Moroccan Peoples Revolutionary Bowls Club and Gene by Gene all kick ass!

I really dig this album a lot now...

That song takes a few listens to grab you, but once it does. You can't get it out of your head. The album is just the same.
