SOULIVE

Was just wondering has anyone checked this group out. They are one of the baddest soul, funk, jazz jam bands around. They have recently added more members such as their horn players to the mix but they started as a 3 piece trio and what power they display. I got into the when they put out their CD called Next. I was sold and I had to get the rest of their catalog. The members are Alan Evans Drums, Neil Evans B3 Organ, Eric Frastno Giutar. All of the members put it down and Neil plays the bass parts on the organ without missing a beat. Alan reminds me of Buddy Miles with that solid har funky drumming that sets everything off. If you haven't checked them out do yourself a favor and give them a listen. Thoughts from anyone that have checked out a show or a CD from them!!!

I love their CD Next and their song "I Don't Know (featuring Amel Larrieux)" who also co-wrote the track.
