VH1 CLASSIC viewers - fave videos

coolest channel ever! they run old obscure forgotten shameful videos from the last 30 years or so.

Just a few favorites:

Stevie Wonder - Living For the City
T Rex - 20th Century Boy (Marc Bolan, a Rock God)
Ohio Players - Fire (pretty funky)
Spirit - I Got a Line On You (like 30 LA session guys jamming, truly embarassing!)

yeah, it really is funny. the 70s were a fun time - at least the video clips make it seem so.

I think that clip was from the 'Musik Laden' show, which I'm guessing was a German music program. I love all the musik laden stuff I see - very cool

EXCELLENT channel. I always leave it on and more often than not have to stop what I'm doing because I wind up watching a clip that I didn't even know EXISTED!! For instance, just the other day, they played the clip for "Thank You For Being A Friend". THat's right the Golden Girls theme but this was the entire 4 minute song...let's just say after getting a view of the actual guys who did this song (singer was Andrew Gold in case you care), I think that the idea to make the song heard and not seen by using it as a TV theme was spot on!!!
