he's the vocalist on The Roots' The Seed.

I've heard of him and have seen him perform live here in Philly, trust me, he's no big deal. Different? Yes to some degree, when compared to todays artist, but certainly not original, His musicianship at best is average, song writing skills needs work. Yeah ,yeah I know the "Roots" out of Philly is promoting him, I'm not a big supporter of the "Roots" themselves. So I really didn't expect much from Cody. Already done by "Lenny Kavitz". Move on to something exciting and original.
