what yall think of Nirvana???
I Think they are very cool!!

I guess the pop world needed them at the time, and it was refreshing

but now I think they represent the death of fun and an all-out embrace of all misery - I hate that band

I did a thread like this!!.. a while ago..
I love SOME of NIRVANA's music.. I can't become a fan, I think.. They've done some great songs, and Kurt's voice grows on you.. But if I had to pick between Nirvana and Foo Fighters, I'd take the foo fighters, not only because they've done some Prince covers, but also.. its not as depressing as most of Nirvana's music.. When I started listening to Nirvana, I seriously got a headache.. hehe But they were a great band!

I ignored them when they 1st came out, and then I "discovered" them a few years ago . . . the last truly great rock band, IMHO. "Breed" may be one of the greatest rock songs of all time -- don't sleep!
