For all the Beyonce haters...COME IN HERE!!!

I'm sure by now she's either saying flipped off or "kiss her booty!" Not only was she the highlight of VH1's Diva Duets, EVERYBODY on radio shows, other message boards are now talking about how they are reformed fans of hers. I'm really glad that she had the opportunity to perform to incrase her fanbase even more!!!

I forgot to mention her stage presence was OFF THE CHAIN!!! Did anyone notice how she threw her earring off into the audience? Kinda had a Patti LaBelle thing going for a minute!

I know I'll regret this but she did remind me a bit of Tina Turner doing the "Proud Mary" dance and what not.

I've got your back on this one, Harlepolis! She did a GREAT interpretation of Tina and sounded great singing it!

I definitely saw that on the second viewing. What made it so diva-licious was that she didnt' try too hard to draw attention to it. The effort was so smooth and graceful as to be barely noticeable. It was like "Here, I love ya. I do this every day, dahling."

I also noticed something else about Beyonce that I've picked up for a while now...

I think Beyonce has been digging through some vintage Aretha Franklin albums and is incorporating her voice in her own. Did you notice how she was (at times) wailing like Aretha on "Proud Mary" and "Signed, Sealed, Delievered?"

You can really hear Aretha's influence on Beyonce's voice if you listen to the track she did on Missy Elliott's song "Nothing Out There For Me." She does the same little running like Aretha was known for in such songs as "Rock Steady" and "Amazing Grace."

The girl is baaad!!!

You can tell a person's personality by the way they act in interviews. I've a lot of her interviews because I'm into entertainment as well as various Destiny's Child specials. What was the point of the eye roll? Certainly, even you can tell an asshole when you see one by what they say, no?

Sorry, my dear...I'm too old to judge books by their covers. Unless I know them, how am I going to be able to tell what kind of personality they have? However, I really could give a flying fuck about their attitude, just as long as they make good music!

Judging a book by it's cover and judging someone by what they say and do are different things. We all, in everyday life, make judgements on someone's character by what they say or do. A celebrity is no exception to that. I think maybe you're making an exception because they're entertaining you, but I don't. Perhaps, you don't pay enough attention to what they do off stage.

Like I said, I don't really care if the person's attitide sucks or not. I've heard Roberta Flack is one of the bitchiest people in the industry, but I still love her music. Just try not to get caught up in the person and their personal life and learn to appreciate their music first.

Beyonce is no Chaka nor Mary as far as I'm concern, but at least the sistah have her own style of singing. She ain't no wannabe like the rest of the young ladies 2day which is the main reason why I like her.

She doesn't move me sometimes but I love the Arabic style in her voice. Plus, I don't feel like skipping anything when I play her stuff 4 my kids!

But I'm a fan of the sista, you could bet yo $$$ on that nod

I've watched her in interviews as well and I've liked her. But I do like strong, confident, self-possessed women. Most women don't. They want someone to be humble or diffident especially if they have lots of beauty, bod, and talent like Beyonce. I wonder what's behind the feelings of dislike. Most would reply, "I just think she's conceited or stuck on herself." But you know what, I don't believe in modesty. That's fake. If you've got it, exert it. Other women just have to be comfortable with that and work on themselves so they won't feel jealous or threatened.

The only think I don't like about Beyonce in interviews is that she lapses into ghetto language way too much (Alicia Keys does this too). I hate that. It mars the effect of her beauty.

Beyonce has the Persona to Be Big&whatnot but She still doesn't have that Solo Track yet that Moves Me.She can Dress like Tina Turner but thus far Her Musical Presentation is about as Funky as Ted Turner IMHO.I don't get the Hype. She is Stuffed&Looks Ghetto Fablious! but Musically She is just there.I ain't heard a Song yet that moves Me from her Solo.

Yeah, Alicia is phony. (And I should have said they lapse into stereotypical ghetto language. Because, you're right people in the ghetto don't talk like Alicia. That statement was too broad.)

And Maxx, you have to consider D.C's hits. Beyonce wrote those and I think she even produced some. The lyrics, attitude, and pop appeal of tracks like Jumpin, Jumpin, Say My Name, Bills Bills Bills, Survivor, Bootylicious, and Independent Women are good enough to warrant admiration. The second album had a lot of great tracks that should have been released -- Sexy Daddy and Apple Pie a la Mode, to name two.

As far as solo singles, she does still need to prove herself. I loved Work it Out and still play it regularly to this day. The 70's throw-back sound, the gutteral sexy delivery, and the double entendre with the lyrics are great.

But yeah, she needs to knock it out with a memorable, #1 single (without Jay-Z) that will solidify itself and her as classic.
