Likewise with the "Syreeta" album and Minnie Ripperton's "Perfect Angel." lol

Just want to get some feedback on this...

IMHO I believe Stevie changed the entire music industry when he released "Journey Through The Secret Life of Plants." When it first came out, they said it was his worst piece of work (probably why he was so quick to go back to making a hit album-"Hotter Than July"); however, I believe this is the work of a gifted artist and will forever go down in history as a true masterpiece.

Maybe I'm a bit biased because it was released the same year I was born lol, but honestly this is my favorite album and no other R&B album can touch it. Seems like 20 years later, people are now discovering how ingenious it is and it's like "damn, why couldn't you see that when it was first released?!" Oh well, just my two cents on the subject. What do you all think?

Off topic here, but I bought the STEVIE WONDER THE COLLECTION and I must say that it is well, wonderful. There's nothing like Stevie Wonder music.

Hey who here watched the BET Walk Of Fame special honoring Stevie. That was cool, I taped it. I love Mariah Carey's cover of "You and I".

big grin

Edit, edit what?
