Check out this '80s guitar pop band called Dif Juz who does all instrumental songs. That's all I can say.
NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

Do you know The Clarke & Ware Experiment? (head-phone music for three dimensions)?
Not piano but a quite interesting synth effort between Vince Clarke (Depeche Mode, Erasure ) and Martyn Ware (Heaven 17).

Lately I also bought the instrumental versions of XTC's last 2 albums: Instruvenus & Waspstrumental. You can get them signed by the artists (Andy & Colin) at http://www.xtcidearecords.co.uk

I recomend Tipsy's "Trip-Tease". It's retro sounding 60's style bachelor pad/extotica whatever. Not too much piano but a lot of cool sounds. music

I'm really getting into downtempo and electro-jazz right now. Try these:

Zero 7 -- "simple things,"
Jazzanova -- "In Between"
Koop -- "Waltz for Koop"
DJ Mark Farina -- Mushroom Jazz 4
Detroit Experiment -- Detroit Experiment
blue six -- a beautiful tomorrow
