But on the other hand wouldn't it be a shame to let someone else sing your songs when you got a voice like he's got, I mean who could sing them better than he does??? With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

She writes and sings, but I'm talking about a one-stop package - someone that plays every instrument, sings, writes the songs - like Prince, Stevie Wonder (on some of the songs) Sly Stone, Remy Shand, and ME!! (well, except I aint' got no major label sucking the life out of me). The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3

Most instruments on her albums, mate. She's an electronic wizz. She plays keyboards and is overly involved with every beep and squeak in her songs. She is as obsessed with her music as Prince is.

Barry Gibb has to be in this discussion. Not only because of his tremendous success with the Bee Gees (5th best selling act ever), but also because of his success doing it for other artists. He's not the versitile musician that, say, prince is, but where would the Bee Gees be without his unique guitar playing.
All of the following was written and produced by Barry Gibb (He also sings on a lot of it) Barbra Streisand's biggest selling album ever, Guilty Kenny Roger's biggest selling album ever, Eyes that See In the Dark, including one of the biggest country hits ever, Islands In The Stream Every hit Andy Gibb ever had Dionne Warwick's Heartbreaker album Dianna Ross's huge international, but underappreciated in the US, album, Eaten Alive, which includes the interanational award winning Chain Reaction Grease - the song, not the whole movie Samantha Sang's Emotion

Frank Zappa
Stevie Wonder David Bowie These 3 along with Prince are-out-on-their-own genius. I would also include Tom Jenkinson aka Squarepusher, though he is an instrumental artist and Ed Wynne (Ozric Tentacles, Nodens Ictus) - although he heads up a band, normally half of the tracks on an album are just him on his own - he is a guitar and production genius, totally with his won sound. If you aint heard either of these 2, check them out, you won't be disappointed. ...we have only scratched the surface of what the mind can do...

They are all musicians. They all play something. I didn't know the list was limited to people who play everything. Even Prince can't play everything, he doesn't do brass, so everyone has some kind of limit. These artists all sing, play, write and produce. So I bow to them. And I bow to you too.
