Maggie's Dream any of you ever hear this band from the early 90's? Maybe it was the late 80's, big difference. Very funky, culturally diverse band, fronted by a hippie that USED to be in Menudo, who went on to write the hit "Livin La Vida Loca" with Ricardo Martinez.
Anyhow - I dug out this CD last night. I LOVE it. The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3

I didn't think he was IN the band. And I don't think he really even produced them. I got the CD cover - just too lazy to go check it out.
INITIALLY I think everybody thought there was a connection, what with MD having black folk, and Lenny being black, and both bands played a retro rock/funk hippie thing, but I believe there was no connection at all. The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3
