Its an autographical book written by Chaka & some author called Tonya Bolden. If so then what do you think about it?

I also checked the liner notes in Chaka Khan's GH LP written by Pepsi Charles and at the end there's a note saying that Pepsi is the co-author of Chaka's book "I'm Every Woman" which is expected in fall 1997. But I checked Amazon and they don't have it.

What do you guys think??

I recall Chaka saying that she would write a book about her life.This was in the mid-90s.The only problem is,Chaka was on drugs back in the 70s so she wouldn't be able to remember everything."I'm gonna have to hire a hypnotist",she joked.

My friend said he saw he in concert one day here in mpls in the early 80's and she was out there smokin & drinkin on stage and messin up her lines & stuff.

So do you guys know anything about this "Chaka! Through The Fire" book??

BTW I'm very impressed about what I've just heard, how the hell did she become a drug/alcohole addict and manage 2 mentain her voice?? It sounds the same as back then 2 me,,WOW!

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for that rock album.Since going independent,Chaka seems to be having problems getting her Earth Song label off the ground.In recent years,she has announced plans to do a rock album,a jazz album,another pop/R&B album,and a reunion album with Rufus.None of these projects have materialized.I'm going crazy waiting for ANY new Chaka material!
