i just got home to listen to the miles davis in a silent way sessions box set. i had bought it while on the road in portland, oregon, and hadn't yet gotten the opportunity to sit down and listen to it. wow!

i had always liked in a silent way a lot, but this box is really spectacular. i put it on and turned it up pretty loud, so i could listen to it while packing some stuff (i'm moving shortly across the country). it is so mesmerizing that it drew me into the living room to really sit down to experience it.

disc 2 is pure brilliance. i highly suggest checking it out if you are able.

album.I just love listening 2 this in my headphones
& B a part of the sounds.

It's fascinating to hear these alternate pre-edit tracks.They seem to have removed an entire melody from "Shhh/Peaceful".This is my favorite Miles set too.

By far my favorite Miles Davis album. I should buy the new set to hear what I'm missing. How's the sound quality?
