Living Colour -- Broken Hearts This song has been floating around my head for the past few days.
Corey Glover's wonderful voice glides so beautifully in this song. That man needs to put a new product out so badly. Muzz and Vernon put down some beautiful playing, very fluid, very lovely. And, I can't rave enough about Will's solid beat. This was the best song off their debut album, to me, the one that I have to hear when I reach for that disc. sweet!

Yeah, this song is great. I love the live version on the Primer video.
I've met these guys twice. I got to shake Corey's hand and tell him what a great singer he is. He didn't let my hand go very quickly... I went on and on about how powerful his performance of Open Letter to a Landlord was and he kept saying thank you and shaking my hand. Corey Glover is one of the most under rated rock singers in the history of the genre. As a vocalist, he can blow away 90% of the cats in the game in the last 16 years or so. Living Colour was SCREWED by the biz AND the media. And don't tell me pigmentation had nothing to do with it. What the HELL is a "black" rock band anyway?

My Exact Sentiments all the way.Corey never got His Solo Due at LaFace Records&It's a trip at how Darrius Rucker was Pushed more than Corey on Hidden Beach but He doesn't have Corey's range.mistermaxxx

Amen. Corey's "Hymns" was a treat, from start to finish. From "Do You First" to "Silence," the man showed his mastery of styles and showcased that wonderful voice. His voice is like a bell.

Did you guys ever download any of Corey's work with his solo project "Vice"? He did a song called "The Last Temptation" that was just awesome. I got it off of his site, but I don't think it's live anymore. The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3
