This is probably my favorite Dionne Warwick song.The arrangement is dreamy and mesmerizing,and the vocals are heavenly.I think Isaac Hayes had something to do with this song,he probably co-produced it? This song always makes me think of being on a lonely beach,and I can't explain why.
btw,the album that this song came from,1979's 'Dionne' album,is the BEST Dionne Warwick album ever.It includes another big hit "I Know I'll Never Love This Way Again".Then there's the infectious disco number "It's Out Of My Hands",which I love. | |

Deja Vu is so silky ans soulful, I cannot believe Dioone Warwick did it. She usually does such snot rockets. As is with my lovely buddy Deja, I love this song as well. I sing it a lot. All you others say Hell Yea!! | |
