New Macy Gray CD The new Macy Gray cd is being released July 15th here in the USA but has already been released in the UK. Any UK fans heard the new cd? I just ordered the CD plus the double cd single from Amazon UK. I'll get it all the new music way in advance of the USA release & the exchange rate isn't outrageous. | |

It's rather terrible.
Nothing new. Lyrics are ok, she's definetely ok, but the music... It's the first album for the third time. Sorry, to say though. I've seen her at her start, even talked to her, she's a very very nice person. Art. I'm a Rainbow Children, Xpectation, News and Musicology lover and I'm startin'to be a 3121 lover. | |

This is a great macy gray album. I own this cd and there are some excellent songs. It Aint The Money with Beck is a jam. Jesus For A Day is beautiful

How much did you pay? http://www.CD-wow.com ships it to anywhere in the world for free postage, takes a couple of days to arrive. Works out at like $12 in USA, I linked Rio on my earlier Macy thread, he should have it by now.
I dig the album on a superficial level but she reminds me of Eminem now in the way that she is badly repeating the same themes. She's also repeating the same musical ideas. Epic have given this album no push and with no true hit singles I see this being the end of her current major album deal... | |

it was tha end with "tha ID" meanin' Intentionally Dumb!!, a friend of mine has this album and said it should have been called "Blunts,brews and bad career moves." Macy's done in my opinion. just the sound of her voice can make milk curdle. | |
