George Michael's album (Older)

I know that there has recently been a thread on George Michael but I bought this album a couple of days ago and it's amazing. Great songs, well produced, very dark and deep. Who elses loves it

01. Jesus to a child
02. Fastlove
03. Older
04. Spinning the wheel
05. It doesn't really matter
06. Strangest thing
07. To be forgiven
08. Move on
09. Star people
10. You have been loved
11. Free - (Isn't this ending amazing "It's feels good 2B free")

Have to admit; George lost his touch.
We want him happy go lucky.

His masterpiece, in my opinion. I love the juxtaposition of "Jesus To A Child" and "Fastlove" - a song about mourning the love of his life, followed by an anthem to promiscuity.

I agree, total masterpiece. He'll never do anything better.

Not a terrible album, but it just didn't work for me. I prefer "Faith" over this one. I really love "You Have Been Loved," though-beautiful ballad.

I absolutely love this cd, but I also love all of George's music. My only complaint is that he doesn't release enough of it. His solo cd's are pure genius.

Indeed. Is there any news on his new album yet? (I hope he dosn't just give up on it. Now I'm a fan of his I'd love to hear it.)

I ordered the DVD of Shoot the dog / Freeek and Amozon said it's been dispatched, so it's just a metter of time now smile

I've been a light fan since my mate bought me the Ladies and gentleman video for X-mas (I told him I wanted to see the video to Outside cos I wanted to know what the fuss was about)

I've been a BIG fan since FREEEK. When is he going to gig again, I want to see him live.

Yeah, but richb8's been puking on everything around here lately.

Now bring up Madonna, and I'll be the puking one.

I personally really liked "Older", and was just thinking about it recently and was about to play it again, as I haven't heard it for a while.
