yes.I love Fela Kuti. He´s the king of afrofunk.
I remember before they put his catalogue out on cd
the prices of those rare LP´s was sky high.
I really love the artcovers on those albums 2,
reminds me of Lee Perry´s Super ape stuff.

Yeah alot of weak artist are posted up in here but at least someone recongnized!! horns I don't think will ever get his props in america until he's ripped off a couple more times, which seems to be happening right now, but for those that do know pat yourself on the back. some may know that fela is no longer with us but his son femi has taken the throne and is doing a hell of a job!! Femi came to my city two years in a row and stomp a fucking hole in the ground i've never seen anything like his performance!! it's was like parlaiment from the motherland, there was about 30 people on stage (all playing something)..some beautiful african women shaking what the motherland gave them(tastefully) words cannot describe what took place so i'll stop this post, but the only thing i can say is that it was a truly religious and spiritual experience, if you ever have the opportunity to see femi live go man go!! because recordings doesn't do his music any justice.. horns
