Marrk - you really don't know what you're missing!!

This is too hard, but a quick stab would have to include;

Catholic Girls
Crew Slut (erm, well, anything off Joe's Garage - pure genius)
Yellow Snow
The Grand Wazoo
Dirty Love
Moving To Montana
Camarillo Brillo
Dumb All Over
Titties and Beer
Watermelon in Easter Hay (sooo beautiful)
...we have only scratched the surface of what the mind can do...

I might have heard him on the radio in passing, i'm going to investigate this guy, over the years i heard Prince compared to him in some ways, but never got round to checking him out.

Give me a good starting point guys. smile

hmm that's tough depends on ur taste and humor because zappa's is so diverse and silly at times...but i would say joe's garage has a bit of everything including a wacky storyline or overnite sensation apostrophe you can't help but fall in love with this album!! i think eveeryone get's hooked here then commences their journey into the vast cynical world of zappa...but if you want musicianship i'd say.... no i won't say the music is incredible on all of them....ok i will say either ,can't do that one stage vol.1 or roxy and elsewhere both live albums

had to clear that up
