Show your love 4 "Led Zeppelin"

Hi!.. I've been in a REAL Led Zeppelin mood lately, it all started with Prince's version of "Whole Lotta Love".. which I totally dig!! dancing jig I love "Communication breakdown", "Straiway to heaven".. and well there is a lot of their songs that I like.. What about you? any reason why you like them? do you like them at all? so and so and so??

Loved em since 5th grade. There were/are no hard rock bands that are better.

Looking forward to that live boxset coming at the end of the month, althought I probably own most of it already.

The first 45 I ever bought was "Rock & Roll" by Zep and it still rules... it JUST blows the doors off the car... whether you're in a cadillac or a yugo.

Slave2daGroove

I was raised on Zeppelin, Sabbath, Doors, etc.

The bootleg material is really cool. Some nights they were operating on another level and or nights they flat out sucked.

IMO they were one of the best, original, innovative, influencial bands in the last 30 years.

There's a dvd & a double cd of the bootleg stuff coming at the end of May. Both a must have, from the set lists.

the cd is actually a 3 cd set. you can preview the set list at amazon.com. it is a 1972 concert from los angeles that has been widely bootlegged.

a four - five song promo is making the rounds right now and it sounds awesome. i believe the release date of the cd is 5/28/03, but i can't recall the exact date. anyway, i will definitely be checking it out when it gets released

and, yeah, i'm with slave2thegroove, in that on some nights, they were pure magic, the best live band ever, and some nights, they were very sloppy.
