Great song. But not one of my favorites by them. By their standards, it's pretty generic.

No I hadn't. But thanks! I didn't realize they were so close to making Ian's biopic either. Yay!

What did you think of 24 Hour Party People? How long have you been a fan?

YOUR SILENT FACE

SHELL SHOCK

PERFECT KISS

ROUND AND ROUND

FINE TIME

REGRET

CRYSTAL

TRUE FAITH

BIZZARE LOVE TRIANGLE

AGE OF CONSENT

My all time favorite is definately YOUR SILENT FACE.
It's funny back in High School while I was grooving to Sign O The Times...all the jocks and student council types were listening to the SUBSTANCE collection, thinking that that was their first and only record...

I just became a fan over the past couple years. The funny thing is I went straight out and bought the Heart and Soul box set as my first purchase. For some reason I just knew that I would love them. And I was right. They're my favorite band. "Disorder" is the greatest song ever written. What are your favorites?

On a side note: I always thought Toby McGuire (sp?) would make a great Ian Curtis.

If you don't have it already you should get their "Le Bains Doche-Live in Paris" CD,it's killer.

Got it. And it is wonderful. Probably the best live album of the 4 I have by them. Although I love "Heart And Soul" and especially "The Eternal" from Preston Warehouse. It's all good. There's not a single song by them that I'm not crazy for.

Yup. Got 'em both. I especially love their tv appearance where they do "She's Lost Control" and "Transmission". You can really see them well and feel the energy of their live performance. It's too bad there's not more footage and rare material out there. I've seen a site with several unreleased song lyrics. What I wouldn't do for demoes of those.
