Madonna on The Jonathan Ross Show (BBC UK)

Well, as much as I admire her...
her performances sucked 2nite.
Although...have 2 say that wasnt all her own fault, the sound was shoddy, (u could see her shooting a look at her sound guy at one point, coming outta the first chorus of American Life)
2 be fair tho, I guess she needs 2 rehearse with the material, and mold it a little more 2 be effective live.
As it currently stands, it doesnt hold up live. (Lets face it, 99% of that album doesnt hold up period)
Oh well. Cant be expected all the time.
What was that somebody said about having 2 high expectations..?
sigh

no no no!
I thought she did a good job!!She's never been the best live singer, but I guess with her, it isn't that big a deal.
Besides, how good a performance CAN you do with a pair of fuck-me heels like the ones she had on!!
jerkoff
As for the album... love

She looked really nervous and not very confident performing. The interview was really boring. Jonathan Ross held back from his usual self.

Yeah I wasn't impressed with the live stuff. Madonna came across as humble and down to earth in the interview.

Mr7

I was very suprised by how nervous Madonna seemed. I was impressed by her humility, but I thought her strong lack of confidence really stood out. She even admited it at one point.

The only time she looked comfortable was when she was performing for the crowd on the last two songs 'Hollywood' and 'Don't tell me'. On the opening song 'American Life' she appeared very shaky.

She appeared on CDUK(?!!!) this morning and mimed her way through 'Hollywood'. She looked much more at ease.
