New music coming from Jill Scott Jill Scott has announced that her sixth studio album To Whom This May Concern will arrive February 13th and she has unveiled the project’s lead single “Beautiful People.” Her first LP to surface since 2015’s Woman, To Whom This May Concern features guest contributions from Ab-Soul, J.I.D., Tierra Whack and Too $hort. If the album is anything like the single, I think we are in for a treat.

Haven't had a chance to check out the whole album yet but I like what I've heard so far, including Norfside- Jilly rapping over a DJ Premier beat!

I gave the album a solid listen on the speakers the other day, it didn't hit me hard like some of her other projects but it was enjoyable and experimental for her. I'm glad she's trying new things. if it was just a dream, call me a dreamer 2

I had the same initial reaction. I have always appreciatived that she is so artistic and creative. Nevertheless, that doesn't make her consistently accessible, which is fine. I listend to the album once, plan to do it a 2nd time, and then hopefully find enough cuts to put as part of a playlist.

It was just okay for me. Maybe two of three tracks really caught my ear. The rest of it was just a bunch of filler. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley
