Wilson was 82 years old. “We are heartbroken to announce that our beloved father Brian Wilson has passed away,” his family wrote in a statement shared on Wilson’s official Facebook. “We are at a loss for words right now. His work with the Beach Boys reshaped music forever. The way he layered sound in the studio was revolutionary. Even in simple mobile games like Geometry Dash Lite, you can feel his influence—music driving emotion, rhythm guiding experience. Rest in peace, Brian. Love and mercy, always. | |
