RIP to an absolute fantastic musician.The last few weeks have been terrible in the R&B/Soul world.

Yes--so sad to hear. At one point in time, paying attention to brother Raphael Saadiq's last 2024 interviews regarding Tony, Toni, Tone's post-2023s-reunion recording projects and continued tour possibilities he announced flat-out they would not be resuming further projects of the kind. This was frustrating to hear, but now we know the prevailing factor for this cessation. The family and associates kept Dwanye's illness close to themselves.
