MJ biopic in development hell ? ( Prince Netflix all over again) The current footage amounts to 4hours+. Possibly Split into two movies? Current reshoots due to the Chandler affair. More here : https://www.yahoo.com/ent...15404.html Prince Netflix backward : MJ estate wanted to talk about thé 1993 and 2003 shitstorm...but they can't. The estate "forgot" to inform thé movie makers they couldn't use the allegations in their script. Also not clear, but the estate would have paid some of the accusers ( some says it s Frank Cascio, paid $16,5 million. |

Honestly,is a Michael Jackson biopic even necessary at this point? What else is there to know about his life and his career? His story has been told over and over and over.No need to revisit this story. | |

I wonder if it would be a better idea to just make a multi-part TV series instead of a theatrical movie.These days,many people prefer streaming at home,as opposed to going to a movie theatre.

What s is needed is the Beatles Anthology format, tied with releases. I thought this would have been done shortly after his death. Now with AI you can erase all the hisses and noises from his demos recording. George Martin son is currently working on cleaning the Beatles Anthology for re-release purpose. The Jackson Five documentary will never be topped. An MJ biopic needs to be done in the future by someone who is not the estate or an accuser. When more time has gone by and there’s either more facts, which seems unlikely, or these lawsuits have settled and there’s less opinion on guilt or innocence. Anything out today is going to seem too soft or too damning. | |
