what CDs r u listening 2 2day? As for me?
Mr. Hood -- KMD: I just got this in the mail today. I've been looking for it for 8 years. A classic, criminally overlooked album. Justified -- Justin Timberlake: Very slickly produced but entertaining in a wanna-be "Off The Wall" kinda way. I'm diggin' it. My Life -- Mary J. Blige: One of the best R & B albums of the 1990's and IMHO Mary J.'s best. Mos Def & Talib Kweli are Black Star -- Black Star: Another criminally overlooked classic hip-hop LP. Nuspirit Helsinki: Cooled-out downtempo B-Sides -- Prince: 17 DAYS is the mamascootin' jam. Period! Fresh -- Sly and The Family Stone: Prince before Prince. A cool funk landmark. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016
Props will be withheld until the showing and proving has commenced. -- Aaron McGruder

The Cramps - "Fiends Of Dope Island": The first good Cramps album in ages and ages and AGES. Latex lovin' B52s on crack!
The Cure - "Disintegration": Because it's been storming lately, and it's the perfect thunderstorm album. Laurie Anderson, "Talk Normal" (disc 2): Cuz I needed a Laurie fix on the ride to work this morning, go figure.

The White Stripes, "Elephant." Not even my type of music but it's really hitting me. "Seven Nation Army" keeps going on in my head, so I just keep playing the cd. "Ball and Biscuit" has some awesome guitar soloing which reminds me of Prince, which reminds me of...which reminds me of...

Cody Chestnutt-Headphone masterpiece (got a lil p and lenny in him)
Common-Electric Circus (specially the track with bilal and Prince) Herbert-Bodily Functions- mellow electronica with jazz like vocals Moloko!!!-Statues-It's a shame that the the U.S is sleeping on this album!!! A must for any Prince fan...their new album is super tight not a weak track on it. Unfortunately it's not available domesticly but u can hear the whole album on their website moloko.co.uk or you can order their album from amazon.com It's a shame that this group doesn't get their just do!! I swear Claire Fisher arranged the strings on this album...sounds like a Prince side project...definitely killing everything that's out now...satisfies that Prince craving in a weird way [This message was edited Thu May 1 17:11:18 PDT 2003 by richb8]

right now, at this very moment:
The Edges of Twilight by The Tea Party. Great, sorta Zepplinesque rock album from 1995. Kinda has some psychedelic and middle eastern flavors here and there... Like Creed (but much better) meets ATWIAD. I think they're Canadian. Good Stuff. .
