It's 70's vs 90s. Abba's music always puts me in a good and happy mood. If you ever visit Sweden be sure to vist the Abba Museum. They were huge and a sign of things to come from Sweden.
Ace of Base was good but their run was not nearly as impactful as ABBA's.
One more thing I heard (and please if someone here is from Sweden correct me if I am wrong). Sweden has music studies for all(or most) their high school students. The students can choose between Classical music studies (European) or Modern music which focuses on African-American Music. Most students choose Modern/African-American. Is it any surprise why their songwriters and producers are dominating the pop charts today. Compare that to the USA which is closing many of its high school music programs. SMH.
