PM Dawn Back in the 1990s when some folks believed that hip-hop realness meant being as ghetto as possible, the cosmic strangeness of PM Dawn was my preferred cup of weird.

yes, papa's scooperia PM Dawn definitely brought a unique and eclectic vibe to hip-hop in the 1990s! What specific aspects of PM Dawn do you find most compelling?

Coincidentally, I heard PM Dawn for the first time in years when I was at Petco a few weeks ago and was immediately a bit more joyful. I was also reminded of just how good they were. In a way, they were almost a "fever dream." They were just so unique, in sound, style, and feeling, almost to the point where it felt like they couldn't possibly have existed.

I love their song with Boy George, More Than Likely. An odd pairing that works very well with that dreamy piano. if it was just a dream, call me a dreamer 2
