oh this is actually next to impossible. 10 years into only 10 songs. not only that, 'singles' too.

ehm, let me just run off a quick list of the first ten that come to my mind,
but i'm sure i would never be able to settle on an actual top 10 since there
were hundreds of amazing singles in the 90's

01. Overcome - Tricky
02. Protection - Massive Attack
03. U2 - The Fly
04. Tori Amos - Hey Jupiter
05. Losing My Religion - REM
06. Till The Cops Come Knockin' - Maxwell
07. Being Boring - Pet Shop Boys
08. Drowned World/Substitude For Love - Madonna
09. Holding On To You - Terrence Trent D'arby
10. 1979 - The Smashing Pumpkins

see, there are about 27 others that are jumping into my brain now, demanding
to be put into a spotify playlist lol

I'm not a huge U2 fan either, and Bono is so lame. But "Achtung Baby" is in my top 10 albums of all time. It's just amazing.

I think the Bot to Mod ratio is around 80/20.

Concerning BOT-invasion ;

sees the mods even left the building.

Asked several times to remove them, it just doesn't happen fast enough.

They keep mutiplying.

I couldn't be bothered trying to figure this out again so I went back to the songs I submitted to the org poll over a decade ago and pulled the first ten songs from that list which had commercial single releases somewhere in the world:

1. Fury Eyes (Remix) - The Creatures (1990)

2. Teardrop - Massive Attack (1998)

3. Superblast! - Lush (1992)

4. In The Meantime - Spacehog (1995)

5. Beautiful Stranger - Madonna (1999)

6. Fade Into You - Mazzy Star (1993)

7. Stop - Spice Girls (1997)

8. Super-Connected - Belly (1995)

9. Like A Motorway - Saint Etienne (1994)

10. Horror Head - Curve (1992)

Revisiting this list over ten years later, I still agree with it for the most part. I would swap Saint Etienne's "Like A Motorway" with "Who Do You Think That You Are" which since then has become my favorite Saint Etienne song.
