Sly Stone memoir Has anyone read Sly's Thank You? Goodreads suggested it to me but it had a median rating, mostly getting 3 out of 5 stars. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking. |

It had some interesting moments but very little about the recording of classic songs/albums. Most of the book's about the last 40 years of his life but still worth reading. | |

Not just that, but I feel like we're getting to the point culturally where if people don't endorse the philosophy of what they're consuming they have trouble rating it 5/5.
