Anyone watching this 4 part series on HBO or the Max app? It's based on the Stax book that came out a few years ago contains interviews and footage but I'm midway through the 3rd part and really enjoying it. Check it out if you're into that good Otis/Sam & Dave/Isaac Hayes/etc... music as it's worth watching...

Saw this over the weekend and thought it was really good.

It connected a lot of bits of random information I knew over the years. The business end was a little suprising but also inspiring every time they came back better than ever.

My favorite revelation was that Stax music became popular in England because of Pirate Radio. Helped me understand the crowd reaction from the Stax Review b/w footage I've watched a million times.
